BIOMEDICAL RESEARCH AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MIAMI MILLER SCHOOL OF MEDICINE
The University of Miami Miller School of Medicine has embarked upon a journey of unprecedented growth, with new cutting edge centers of excellence in areas like genetics, genomics and stem cell research to add to our proven efforts in paralysis, cancer, diabetes and eye care. Our students have access to renowned faculty, groundbreaking research, and state of the art resources. All of this set in a bustling international city and an inviting subtropical climate. All students are admitted through the Program in Biomedical Sciences (PIBS) for the PhD programs in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, Cancer Biology, Microbiology & Immunology, Molecular Cell & Developmental Biology, Molecular & Cellular Pharmacology, Neuroscience, Physiology & Biophysics, and Human Genetics & Genomics. The PIBS Admissions Committee will review applications as they are received. The PIBS Admission Committee will begin reviewing applications after December 15th.
