Where are you from?

I was born and raised in Miami, Florida. My parents are natives of Florida and Kingston, Jamaica.

What brought you to the University of Miami

I started my higher education career with the University of Miami approximately twenty years ago. During that time I worked within several administrative support capacities (over the course of eight years), including having been a staff member of the Miller School of Medicine, Office of Admissions team.

After leaving UM, I have since worked at two other post-secondary institutions as Operations Manager of a graduate program at a private university and Program Coordinator in the Continuing Education and Professional Development department at a local college.

I returned to the U because I wanted to come back to where my professional career started in hopes of utilizing my skills and knowledge to help students achieve their educational aspirations which will impact our local communities and nation as whole. I believe that being here at UM, a world renowned educational institution and leader in the healthcare industry, helps me to fulfill my purpose and passion in that I am able to serve as part of a professional administrative team where students and their future are our priority
